The Land
Fifteen acres of forest, meadow and running water. Trails that lead nowhere in particular, which is precisely the point.
A Mountain House for Meaningful Gatherings
“We are all travelers.
For a while, we are guests.”
Doğa ile uyum · Harmony with nature
Somewhere between the forest and the sky, there is a house. A place to slow down, to gather, to listen. The Dagh is less a destination than a return — to nature, to stillness, and to one another.
We don't have the answers. But we trust that you do. Here, the mountain holds the space; the fire keeps the hours; and the days unfold at the pace of breath.
— A mountain house for meaningful gatherings
The House
Built into a forested valley where the mist settles at dawn and the light turns to gold at dusk. Everything here is arranged around one idea — that we remember ourselves best in the company of nature and of one another.
Fifteen acres of forest, meadow and running water. Trails that lead nowhere in particular, which is precisely the point.
A great stone fireplace at the heart of the house — where conversations soften and evenings grow long.
Beds of herbs and vegetables that find their way to the table. Slow food, grown close and cooked with care.
No screens competing for attention. Only wind in the pines, the crackle of fire, and the sound of your own breath.
Gatherings
Whether you arrive alone or with your people, The Dagh holds a container for whatever you came to meet. Choose a gathering — or let us design one around you.
Multi-day immersions in nature — rest, reflection and gentle practice, guided from arrival to farewell.
Sound healing, breathwork and nervous-system regulation to quiet the mind and return you to your body.
Seasonal circles, cacao and fireside ceremony — old ways of marking time, thresholds and togetherness.
Take the whole house. Weddings, family reunions, creative offsites and celebrations, held with intention.
Morning practice on the deck, forest walks and somatic movement to meet the day with an open body.
Farm-to-table meals from the garden and the region — long tables, shared plates, unhurried conversation.
The Practice
Our sessions weave sound, breath and somatic awareness into a single, gentle path back to yourself. Drawing on sound meditation and nervous-system regulation, each experience is an invitation to let the body lead and the mind grow still.
The Table
Meals are the quiet centre of every gathering. Vegetables from the garden, bread from the oven, honey from the valley — cooked simply and served at a long table where no one is a stranger for long.
Stay
A handful of rooms, each different, each simple and warm. Natural linen, timber, and windows that frame the hills. Room enough for solitude; close enough to gather.
Warm doubles opening to the forest, with views down the valley and mornings full of birdsong.
A larger retreat with a private sitting nook and wood stove — for those who wish to linger.
Book The Dagh in its entirety for your group — every room, the kitchen, the fire and the land.
